Required Qualifications For Lawyer Jobs

• Delhi Police is inviting all those interested applicants for the selection of lawyer or advocate for giving legal assistance to investigating officer of the Delhi police and some of the heads are given below:-

• The offense against the ARMY, NAVY, and the AIR FORCE.
• The offense against the STATE.
• The offense that affecting the HUMAN BODY.
• The offense is related to paperwork or the documents and the property marks.

• NDPS Act cases
• POCSO Act cases
• MCOCA Act cases
• JJ Act cases
• UAP Act cases and some others with having the approval of CP of Delhi.

• All the candidates are required to obtain the degree of LAW from a verified university and the registration of it must be legal.
• The candidates should have a minimum of 5 YRS of practice in criminal cases.
• All those candidates who have been retired PPs and the advocates having on the government panels tendering legal advice in criminal cases.
• Major Scopes:- The registration of the case and the filling of the charges sheets. It would also help in some legal drafting paperwork.
• Providing advice for the Bail matter and the Misc. matter also in different courts and including the SC(Supreme court) and the high courts.
• For the assistance of IOs drafting questionnaires for seeking opinions from the doctors, laboratories and the forensic science, and their experts.
• For the conversation in case laws, judgment of the high court, and the apex court.
• For the assist of the IOs in interpreting the laws, regulations, amendments, and statutory rules.
• For the miscellaneous matter:-
• For seeking legal advice in matters of complaints and references.
• For seeking legal advice in the matter of the application registered u/s 156{3} Cr. PC.
• For seeking legal advice in the matter of notice which has been received from u/s 80 CPC and the 140 DP Act.
• The Payment:-
• The panel of legal consultants will raise the bills to the concerned DCP for their payment. The district unit DCsP should verify the raised bills and must make the payment from the budget head.

Age Limit

All the candidates are hereby informed that the age of applicants should exceed more than 65 YRS as considered from 01^St October 2021.

Note:- There is a requirement of application fees for interested candidates is ₹ 500/-

Rules And Regulations

• The initial selection will be only for 1 year and then it may be reviewed for further extension.
• The selection of the advocates should not be in a professional position where the interest and the conflicts with the Delhi police job.
• The selection does not have any right in respect to claiming any permanent post or the regularization or the extension. The final decision will be made by CP Delhi.
• The advocate will be assigned with the case or the reference would not take in the case in which the candidate is in conflict of their interest either with the complaint or suspect or accused or others.
• All the advocates as the selection will be done they must submit the written consent.
• If the candidates are required to attend the office on weekend days like Saturday, or Sunday, or any other holiday in case of exigencies of the work, then the candidates will not be paid extra.
• Delhi Police will be arranging typist and the photocopying and there will be no charges for it.
• If the candidate has been found to be providing wrong information then the application of that candidate will be disqualified.
• All the candidates are hereby informed that there is no payment for travel.
• Selected candidates will be responsible for disciplinary action by the bar council for professional misconduct. The termination of the selection provision of the prevention of corruption act will be applied to the candidates.
• All the selected candidates must be eligible for a leave of 8 days in only one year on the basis of true medical or other reasons, and there is no more leave will be given to candidates in any case.
• All the selected candidates are expected that to maintain discipline and integrity in the accordance with the Conduct Rule, 1964, CCS.
• All the candidates are hereby informed that the working hours for the candidates will be the same as with Delhi Police. The candidates will not be entitled to earened leave. The consultant will remain available from 2 PM to 10 PM.
• All the selected candidates must have to verify if anything was found to be unfavorable in the report, in that case, the candidate's application will be disqualified for Lawyer Jobs.
• Candidates appear from one common order then it will be considered as in 1 case.
• All the candidates are hereby informed that the transfer of petition only drafting chargers will be paid there is no other requirement for fees.
• If the council will be changing during the time of pendency then the case fees will be paid.
• The fees are payable in the case of not being covered in the schedule then specifically shall be at the discretion of the Spl. CP/Legal cell, PHQ, and the final decision will be made.
